1913 Thor Single
Thor started out as Aurora Automatic Machinery Co.
Aurora made the motors for Indian Motorcycles from 1901 to 1907.
As part of their agreement, Aurora was allowed to sell the motors to other parties and pay Indian a royalty. Aurora also continued to make other bike parts but not a complete bike.
Aurora started producing their own motorcycles under the name Thor after the contract with Indian expired in 1907.
A Thor motorcycle was used in the 1914 Charlie Chaplin film
