  • This is a very rare Thor Board Track Racer.

Only a few factory Thor board track bikes are known to still exist.

Thor started out as Aurora Automatic Machinery Co.

and made the motors for Indian Motorcycle Co. from 1901 to 1907 when they started producing their own motorcycles under the name Thor.

Board track racing was a popular motorsport in the

1910’s and 1920’s and drew crowds of up to 80,000.

Many of the Board Track racing stars were killed on these

wooden tracks and quite a few spectators as well.
